Hi. It's me again. Joined by my co-host Paprika. I'm going to let Mom type in a few recipes that are really good for kids.
I don't type....I have tried to eat the mouse but mom keeps taking it away. Did manage to add a little root beer to the keys tho. They stick MUCH better now.
Finger Jello
Prepare Jello w/ half the water.
Mix the jello with the water. Pour into a pan so that the jello is maybe an inch high. More jello, bigger pan. Let it set in the fridge. Best results let it set over night. The jello will be firm enough to cut into blocks and kids can eat it with their hands! :o) It also bounces (outside of course. :)
Rice Krispie Treats
3 tablespoons margarine or butter
1 package (10 oz., about 40) regular marshmallows or 4 cups miniature marshmallows
6 cups KELLOGG'SŪ RICE KRISPIESŪ cereal1. Melt margarine in large saucepan over low heat. Add marshmallows and stir until completely melted. Remove from heat.
2. Add KELLOGG'S RICE KRISPIES cereal. Stir until well coated.
3. Using buttered spatula or waxed paper, press mixture evenly in 15 1/2 x 10 1/2 x 1-inch pan coated with cooking spray.Best if served the same day.
Jello Cake
2 baked 9-inch round white cake layers, cooled*
2 cups boiling water
1 pkg. (4-serving size) JELL-O Brand Gelatin, any red flavor*
1 pkg. (4-serving size) JELL-O Brand Lime Flavor Gelatin*
1 tub (8 or 12 oz.) COOL WHIP Whipped Topping, thawed*PLACE cake layers, top sides up, in 2 clean 9-inch round cake pans. Pierce cake with large fork at 1/2-inch intervals.
STIR 1 cup of the boiling water into each flavor of gelatin in separate bowls at least 2 minutes until completely dissolved. Carefully pour red gelatin over 1 cake layer and lime gelatin over second cake layer. Refrigerate 3 hours.
DIP 1 cake pan in warm water 10 seconds; unmold onto serving plate. Spread with about 1 cup of the whipped topping. Unmold second cake layer; carefully place on first cake layer. Frost top and sides of cake with remaining whipped topping.
REFRIGERATE at least 1 hour or until ready to serve. Decorate as desired. Store leftover cake in refrigerator.
Frozen Yogurt Pie
2 containers (8 oz. each) BREYERS Lowfat Yogurt , any fruit flavor
1 tub (8 oz.) COOL WHIP Whipped Topping , thawed*
1 graham cracker crumb crust (6 oz. or 9 inch)Stir yogurt gently into whipped topping in large bowl until well blended. Spoon into crust. Freeze 4 hours or overnight until firm. Let stand at room temperature 15 minutes or until pie can be cut easily. Garnish with additional whipped topping and fruit, if desired. Store leftover pie in freezer.
